Mana
If you love pop rock music, then you must be an admirer of Mana. Hailing from the gorgeous state of Mexico, Mana has received lots of awards such as the Grammy's. Their sound has been explained by a lot of music experts as pop rock with a little of reggae and ska. With the band's ability to perform well in a big crowd, it's no surprise that they're popular in Australia as well as Spain. Also, they have gained a fan base in Asia, Europe and in the us. Their worldwide accomplishment has bought them to the record breaking 25 million albums being sold up to date .
The band's singer given its name "Jose Fernando "Fher" Olvera created the band with the guitarist Gustavo Orozco . They created the band with 3 brothers known as Juan Calleros on the bass guitar , UlisesCallerosand AbrahanCalleros playing the guitar and also the drums, correspondingly. They started singing covers and fortunately in 1989; they were able to release their first studio album titled Sombrero Verde under the record label Ariola . They're able to release four successful singles namely "Long Time", Despiertate", Vampiro" and "Professor".
To make things far more exciting, the group has released a next album with numerous collaborations from diverse music artists which includes Cisne Raff . The singles titled "Laura" as well as "Hechos Nada Mas" became world-wide hits.They released their third studio album titled Falta Amore under a new label, Warner Music. Being a globally well-known band , they did a live concert for the international music television MTV Unplugged entitled Mana MTV Unplugged. Their overall performance in that stated show can now be purchased on DVD. At present, they are placed to launch their new album on 2012 entitled ,Drama y Luz.
